“Does not the very word 'creative' mean to build, to initiate, to give out, to act - rather than to be acted upon, to be subjective? Living photography is positive in its approach; it sings a song of life - not death.” -Berenice Abbott

“The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.” - Michelangelo

“I am a poor man and of little worth, who is laboring in that art that God has given me in order to extend my life as long as possible.” - Michelangelo

“Life is a wonderful adventure.” - MPR

“I am enough, I am where I am supposed to be and I am loved.” - MPR

Enjoy your visit. Use the menus above and below to explore all there is to see here.

My dad was a photographer in the 40's. I still have his Speed Graphic and Kodak D-2 4x5 film cameras. I can't remember a time when I didn't have a camera, was in front of a camera or played with a camera.

I shoot because it is my personal self-expression. The interaction with my subjects is fulfilling and rewarding. I have met all kinds of people in many stages of life, from the rich, powerful, weak and depressed to strong and self-aware. I have learned a lot from my subjects and been humbled often.

It is my goal to shoot as often as possible and capture people, places and things in a way where their true identity is expressed in my work.

I have been enjoying photography since I was 10 and love capturing everything from New York City to mountain tops. From time to time I shoot First Responder images. I invite you to enjoy my work here and feel free to purchase anything I have posted here for sale. If you see an image which is not for sale let me know and I will make it available.

If you are enjoying the images please leave a note in the Guest Book or a comment on the image; I would love to hear from you. Thank you for taking a moment to understand this part of my life's work.

Enjoy your stay.
